Are you new to Lund? Perhaps you’re not from Sweden and you don't know what to expect or how life will unfold in the new place you find yourself. We know that feeling. Many of our members are international students and moved here from other countries. Others have moved here from all over Sweden.
We know how it feels not knowing what to expect. We found a place at Kalmar Nation, and we can help you find your place too!
Ready to sign up?
The inskrivning (sign-up) period for Autumn 2024 begins on August 26nd. The office at Biskopsgatan 12 in Lund is open 10 am to 18 pm on weekdays with people to help with sign ups and answer questions. When you come, bring proof that you are studying and a valid ID or passport.
Be sure to sign up early if you are interested in participating in our novisch weeks! The novisch weeks are a fun way to make new friends, get to know Lund, and get active in Nation life. Read more below!

Novisch Card
When you sign up to become a member at Kalmar Nation, you will receive a ‘Novisch Card’ which gives you lots of perks during the Inskrivning period! Novisch Card perks:
5 % discount on food and drinks at pubs and lunch
1 extra food ticket when you volunteer to work a pub or lunch
Prioritized entry to the pub on selected days
Free cinnamon bun with meal at Måndagspuben (3 times)
